Actually there was no wait at all. It was in stock on the floor.

I'd love to make Sturgis but there's no way I'd be able to arrange my schedule to make it this year. Hopefully next year. We'll hit bike week in Daytona for 2006 I'm sure.

yup...it's got the air suspension.

Already made some upgrades to it: replaced the stock mufflers with Vance & Hines (for the true Harley sound), fuel pack system, got rid of the stock seat and replaced with a Sundowner solo seat, installed a set of Kuryakyn switchblade footpegs for highway cruising, and added a headlamp visor.......for now.

Did they happen to take a picture of your empty wallet at the same time?

Sweet ride, congrats. Maybe someday when my kids are grown and outta the house, I'll have the money and time to invest in one of those beauties.

Nice ride!

The only thing that IS very nice, but is hard to maintain nicely are those spokes. Stay on top of those babies, cause they sure look sweet when they shine, but look like crap if let go.

Dont take that as a negative thing. I love the spokes, just treat em right...

Thanks All.....

that's a no on being Golden Gate Harley. I'm on the east coast.

EI, if things work out I'll definitely get in touch with you about Myrtle Beach next year. That's in May, correct?

The first weekend I put a good coat of wax on the whole bike including the spokes. Now THAT was a pain. Now after I wipe it down or wash it I use a spray wax just to keep things protected and it makes it much easier for cleanup (and bug removal).

Yep in May Just after mothersday.. do go at the end of May thats black bike week... Whole different atmosphere

as for waxing the bike... try Protect All. You can find it in Wal-mart around the RV stuff.
It comes in a spray bottle Use a scotts blue shop towel on the roll and spray it on rub it in and then wipe it off.
I won't cake up around the creases and crevices, You can use it on the chrome, leather plastics and paint also and it works great on a windshield to get the bugs off without scratching

I have used it on all my bikes for years
