Given the context of the message, and the hate that this wonderful image is being used for to spread, I think it was the perfect thing to say.

I love this photo, and I will not forget the day that our country changed in a way we never thought could happen. I don't like to see it's memory used to spread even more hatred than we felt on us by the people that did this to us.

Yes, it appeared that way. Unfortunately it didn't have the effect I wanted it to have if one wasn't following the "rest of the story." The "forget what?" comment was directed at the poster directly, and was intended to question his intents of posting the photo....IE, was he saying never forget the lost, or was he saying never forget the muslims that we are supposed to hate. It wasn't meant to sound apathetic, but rather sarcastic. Point taken though.

I’m with you, Jet. I think everyone… or at least everyone with a brain… knows exactly what you meant by “never forget”. It’s been the tag line for 9/11 since it happened. I’m glad you posted the pics… and I do hope that none of us ever forget the tragedy of that day.
