No, I am my own guy. Live in Chicago, a lover of the leaf and frequent visitor to the forum, but admittedly not a frequent poster. I use the forum as a learning tool mostly.

Adroomi: I have read quite a few posts by you, and in some cases agree with your comments. I don't love Bush or all that has occurred post 911. BUT for you to coldly, callously use sarcasm as your first reaction to this picture tells me what I need to know about you. I would say that your comment pi$$ed me off but I wouldn't give you the pleasure.

I ask you one thing, how would YOU react to YOUR comment if YOU lost a loved one at 911? Would you still be thinking about politics, or do you have a heart?

Politics is the least of my concerns. My big concern if you follow my rants is multicultural diversity and organizational behaviour. I preach about cultural tolerance and I learn about organizational behaviour from this forum. These days it's gettting a bit much though.

If my comment offended you I'm sorry for that. Sometimes though, I just have to be that way to get my point across. My goal is to get folks thinking. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it gets me into trouble here. The trouble is worth it though, if I can just reach one single person.

I appreciate your comments and will think a little more before I speak on sensitive issues in the future.

The lights are there to remind us of those lost on that day. They shoot toward the sky and fade out only because we can't see that far. Trust me when I say that they travel much farther that we can see.

What happened to us that day shows us how vulnerable we really are and your remarks Adroomi would indicate you feel that somehow we should just forget all about it. Or that it doesn't matter. Obviously you've never had to put oin a uniform or carry a weapon in defense of this country, or dedicate your life to protecting the citizens of your city from fire and crime.

I'll bet if you had to throw on some cammys and kevlar, and hit the streets of Baghdad you wouldn't last 15 minutes. Say your cheese to a soldier's face sometime, or better yet, go to downtown Manhattan and walk into any firehouse and run your cake hole.
