Monday - Saturday, after leaving the gym: 1.3 cups of natural rolled oats with 45g of whey.

Sunday - 12-16 pancakes covered in syrup and butter.

Oatmeal is Awesome! Much better than any cereal cause it gives you a lot more energy through out the day. Don't get me started on my mom's oatmeal, she does it right. Add some bananas, mmmhhh maybe any fruit would do good, and you've got yourself some good, warm, toasty oatmeal. Love It!

I almost never eat in the mornings during the week. Myabe some cold pizza if there is some in the fridge at work.

On weekends, I make my favorite; Huevos Rancheros.

Did you say 12-16 pancakes? Are they the size of a quarter? No way! You don't look like you need the expando-pants!

Regular oatmeak is good for the heart, but the instant oatmeal in the packets are supposed to not be that good for you. Apparently they are high in like sodium or something.

J.Redleg - I have one free day a week in which I literally go nuts. It's quite disgusting. Sometimes, even the girlfriend doesn't want to witness the gluttony. I've been known to put away a 16-piece bucket of KFC in the first half of an Eagles game, along with the biscuits, mashed potatoes and mac 'n cheese.

Oh, back to the question. The pancakes are about 6-7 inches in diameter - the size of my small frying pan.

I'll make sure I keep my fingers away from your general area if I ever see you on a Sunday!

Back to thread: Oatmeal - I like oatmeal raisin cookies, does that count?

Funny how we often remember the horrible, shocking, bad things more vividly than the good. I remember my first bowl of oatmeal: gray, slimey, :::shivers::: I've been a Cream of Wheat guy ever since.

I just had a bowl myself. Had one yesterday too.

But peanut butter cookies are my favorite. Don't like oatmeal cookies.
