Wow, I can tell by your exensive use of vocabulary, i.e. ****, that we're definately dealing with an extremely intelligent person. Also, if I had the talents of a mater roller, I might comemorate the lost of thousands in a similar fashion. Since I have no such talents and am just a lowly college student, then only way I can show my support is to hope and pray that ignorant **** heads like yourself will some day learn to love the good things instead of putting them down in hopes of making yourself feel important.

Sorry, I have a tendency to fly off the handle when someone thinks its appropriate to do something as totally tastless and vile like make cigars into the likeness of something as terrible as what happened here in New York.
Poor slim you couldnt sleep on September 11th. You really dont understand anything do you. Im really touched that you couldnt go to work so you spent the night smoking cigars an going on and on with your inane drivel posts.
Some of us had friends that died there. Consider that.

if i could paint, i might paint a memorial of the twin towers. i might even show the plain hitting the building so people could remember the devasation.

if i could sculpt i might do the same thing. the sculpture in new york depicting a woman jumping out of the window called "falling woman" has already been covered and is being removed because people thought it in bad taste.

the cigar artist thought it was in good taste and was pleased with his creation.

i found it interesting to look at for a moment and didn't think of it in relation to the tragedy.

golly, if i had posted it on the picture post, would i also be an asinine idiot, a **** ass hole, and a ****?

perhaps you lost someone in the disaster and that has made you react so violently. i hope not.

i'm not defending slimboli, who neither needs defending, nor my help if he did, but i wish you would reread what you said and rethink your response.

you could have said it was "imho" in bad taste and that would have sufficed.

Rick,
You know who I am..I'm sure you know how why I reacted that way.
Is it an over reaction...maybe...sorry for calling you a **** slim..but you still are an ****.

freecigars2002 --- what the hell is wrong with you.

I'm an **** because I posted a link to some photos of cigar creations? Hey, I'm sorry for your loss ... but what makes you think you were the only one who lost someone ... or something ... in that tragedy?

When Carlito's master roller created the 'Twin Towers' memorial cigar, it was viewed by some at Cigar Family with the same 'knee-jerk' reaction you had to it ... and he personally came to the forum and posted his motivation behind the creation, and silenced everyone on the spot.

I tried to seach the archive at CF to find it and post it here, but they only go back one year. That cigar was created only days after the tragedy, and believe it or not, many people in the Dominican Republic lost family and friends in that incident also. Believe me, his intentions were nothing short of honorable ...

... and that cigar was humbly made in honor of those who lost their lives.

That auction, BTW, raised over $50,000, which was presented by Carlito to Mayor Guiliani almost a year ago next month.

All I have to say is YOU may think that this was in bad taste, but what is wrong with raising $6,000 to help families of this act of wrong doing? Do you actually think that the buyers were "ARAB” maybe you’re the one that is the “IDIOT” for thinking that every one that is of “ARAB” decent is going to commit evil acts on our country, until you walk in their shoes please watch what you say. I can understand why you would think it is wrong to make the cigar, but if it helps people of this tragedy it can’t be that bad. Also your not the only one on this board that has lost some one in the attacks of the 11th.

So, Slim was the roller, right? He was JUST posting some interesting pics for others to see. You need to lighten up, man. Thanks for the pics, Slim. That "mint julep" definitely grabbed my interest. Does anyone know of any makers that have ever put out a "barber pole" with candela and maduro wrapper leaf?

Oh, and speaking of "moronic", I found your language much more offensive than any of Fuente's cigars. I for one don't think that should be tolerated here. My guess is you have a good chance of getting banned.

Opas X are good. Also try Opie's X. Ron Howard figured if Chuck Norris and Jim Belushi could make a great cigar like the Lone Wolf, he would get into the business, too.

Not to be outdone, Oprah's X hit the shelves next month, and, as soon as he collects the reward for finding the real killers of Nicole, OJ's X.

Well, "Freecigars2002" has been pretty much banned at a few other places..I also know who you are..Big deal...I agree with Rick..If you don't like the pic, then post that you don't agree with it..Period...I checked out the pic and to be honest, I don't think it was a good idea to make a plane out of tobacco and have it hitting one of the towers...Bad taste IMHO...It's great that they raised all that $$ for the funds, but I still think that the plane should've been ommitted..Why not just the twin towers cigars by themselves?

The thought of making a likeness of the towers out of something that is designed to be burned and smoked just annoyed the hell out of me.
Sorry for the curses..i'm sure you've never heard anything like that.
I spent three months sifting through rubble there and I'm a bit sensitive to the whole subject.
Hopefully my inappropriate comments will be deleted.

If you did have this bit of cigar art, would you smoke it? Art is sometimes meant to be controversial. It made you remember this tragedy in your own way. You may hate it but it served its purpose as a memorial.
