How did it come out that his "girlfriend" was in fact his sister?

Wasn't. At least I don't believe so. Seems he was asked a couple times about how he managed to outkick his coverage. Not sure why, but he wouldn't answer directly. I think he first said she was window dressing for a vendor at a cigar show -- someone pointed out a resemblance and he ran with the 'sister' thing for a bit. I think that mostly, he just had a sense of humor that only he 'got'. In his attempts to be funny or witty, he got taken way off track into ditches and under tractors. The fact that he seemed to get along with Adroomi, then crossed up SteveR and Slim just sent him further from the 'reality' of the rest of us here.

Not hard to figure out how this happened.

- Idiot with low self esteem, but enough money/charisma/whatever to attract very attractive girlfriend decided to use a cigar forum to brag about her (in an attempt to bolster his self esteem)
- Add a cadre of individuals with likely less success in the dating market (or are 50 years past the dating market)...

Mix vigorously and you have the threads in post 230. Beyder was an idiot, obviously proud of the woman he managed to snag, but an idiot for trying to show off in front of a bunch of idiots over an internet forum (where people can make up anything and will take any opportunity to troll). In the end, the trolls got him.

Yeah thats what I missed. The fact that he said it really was his sister. I recall the threads but missed that important part.

Can't believe this is the first time I've seen this thread. Immediately I thought, "dang, they look like twins. Must be related." Surprised that it took till page 3 before someone suggested that she was his sister.

I thought the same thing, she looks like his sister or maybe first cousin, which is legal in some states.
