To anybody that listens to Slipknot and hasn't seen them live, I highly recommend you do so. Outside of Chimaira, they deliver more energy than any band I've ever seen. Just be careful - if you've never been to a metal concert, stay off the floor.

I'd love to see these guys live. They came through about a year ago and I couldn't make it (dammit).

Why do they look like they're barfing?

It's nice to see that they were recognized by the mainstream with winning a Grammy the other day.

I saw them a few years ago here in Va Beach. They are nuts. One of them (there are so many) started climbing up the speaker stands, then dove a good 30 feet into the crowd. Of course they caught him, then security had a good time getting him back to the stage.

Tar - That was probably Chris, #3. He always ends up in the crowd. Security usually needs to fetch him to get him back on stage.

BTW - He's the one with the long nose 🙂

BeatDragon - Never really had the urge to see them live, mainly because I don't listen to their music. (never gave the band a chance)

If you can get passed the theatrics the music may surprise you...

The live show is somethng like you have never seen or may never want to again..I've been to two.

My son is into SK and I kept telling him that they were GWAR Ultra Lite. Didn't share my opinion until he saw the DVD.

That's the thing that turned me off. In this clip I saw, one of the 'creatures' was eating somebody from the crowd. It seemed more like a sideshow than a concert.

Geez - with the exception of Alice Cooper, I don't know who/what are any of the bands mentioned. And somehow, I think I'm glad of that 🙂

No reason to get old. I'm 46 and I listen to Slipknot.
