I have big time liberal teachers and professors that I herf with and they are all disgusted with this crowd. You have dem control of congress since 2006 and the Pres in 2008 and the country is going down in flames.

Maven, you can't be that stupid to believe this bs of yours.

People are pissed and they are tired of being pushed around by their own government.

We know exactly what a RINO is and Arhold (married to a Kennedy) is no republican and we will get rid of them with lots and lots of 'crats who talk conservative at home but dance for Pelosi and Reid in DC.

Maybe Homebrew is right maybe you should STFU.

[color=darkblue]This is a pretty bad thread, Rickamaven, who spouts some silly crap to start it and then everybody taking shots at the :Left Wing Cut and Paste champ!

I think that this is one reason I have stayed off this Political thread this long, and I am giving thought to retreating to other threads as well.......

However, Rick, how can you say Republicans are ruining this Country when you Dumbocrats have control of both houses and the Oval Office? Gee, what is up with that kind of remark? What made you come up with such a mind boggling statement? Bad Booze? Along these lines I watched Bill O Show last night and he had the second interview with wacko further than Left Bill Maher, who stole all of his routines from Dennis Miller by the way, and this guy is even nuttiier than I thought he was. He hates folks who disagree with him and why HBO allows him to spout off weekly with a few Liberal Journalists and actors is far beyond reason. The no-talent hack lost his one job when he proclaimed "how brave the 9-11 terrorist were that crashed airplanes into buildings" and needs to lose this job as well.

Back to sports, too bad the Ryder Cup is in a rain delay right now!!!!!!!!![/

When you think about it, over the last few years, the Republican party has been nothing more than an unarmed insurgency.

from Mirriam-Webster - insurgency 1: the quality or state of being insurgent; specifically : a condition of revolt against a government that is less than an organized revolution and that is not recognized as belligerency.

Rick, as usual your posts are barely worth responding to, but I'm bored at the moment, so why not? Where is the evidence that the GOP tried to amend the constitution? Just direct me to an article where a GOP group organized efforts to do this.

Arnold is barely a Republican, and I'm not sure even what point you are making about him. One individual is not representative of an entire party anyway.

And now "they" want to investigate where Obama was born? Send the link to the article where "the GOP" is initiating this effort now.

And the most important question, how does any of what you describe remotely approach the destruction of the country? I really feel sorry for you: either you've gone throughout life being this misguided, or old age is starting to take its toll. Either way it's bad.

DMV @6 AND #9

it was the GOP that wanted the constitution changed.

me full of crap. of course. and so are most of your rightwing nuts. the difference is i know it and i do it consciously. you and your cadre of birthers and racists, like putzboy with his ida amin ****, don't know you are all full of crap.

I'll bet all of those medical records you "lost" of soldiers during your brief time in the military were those of the not-so-lilly-white men, of whom who have shown total disdain over the years you've posted here.

Face it, Rick, the only guy obsessed with race on this board is you.

perhaps some accurat information will help you to understand i am n0ot a dumb ass, as so many of the lunatic riung wing here wish you to believe. i have rarely been misguided and old age has not made me forgetfull.

the fact that i am one of the few outspoken liberals or progressives on this site does not diminish my enthusiasm for my beliefs, and a few gnats buzzing around don't back me down.

here is one of the articles and orin hatch's introduction to the senate for the amendment called "the arnolkd amendment."

you don't need to suddebly turn into a liberal or adjust your feeling about what is happening to the country, but you should at least be informed of some of it's recent history.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/10/24/opinion/main579874.shtml

on July 10, 2003, Orrin Hatch, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee,
took action against what he calls "an anachronism that is decidedly un-
American." He introduced a bill that would allow a person who has been a
U.S. citizen for 20 years and a resident for 14 years to run for president.
Schwarzenegger recently celebrated his 20th year as a U.S. citizen, though
employees of the Senate Judiciary Committee, where the bill currently
stands, says the birth of Hatch's bill had nothing to do with the political
aspirations of the Austrian-born muscleman. While introducing his "Equal
Opportunity to Govern" Amendment before the Senate, Hatch said that
perhaps the most disturbing aspect of our Constitution as it reads today is
that "scores of foreign-born men and women who have risked their lives
defending the freedoms and liberties of this great nation remain ineligible
for the Office of President." More than 700 recipients of the Congressional
Medal of Honor have been immigrants, he added. The amendment, which
some have dubbed the "Arnold Amendment," would have to be approved
by two-thirds of the Senate and House and three-fourths of the states.

Breaking news, seven years ago, the "entire" GOP was behind a constitutional amendment for Arnold. Thanks Rick, we can always rely on you to bring us "news" that is literally seven years old to the forum. What would we do without you? And exactly how is this "destroying the country?" Another ridiculous post exposed.

When was the last time a US Constitutional amendment was approved?

I don't see much reason to cower in the corner in fear of Arnold considering what it would take to actually pass.
