While the Tea Party email solicitation may be crass exploitation, you can be sure that the very same thing is being done by entities on the "other" side.

So, predictably, instead of discussing how messed up it is that entities of all stripes are immediately jockeying to turn the deaths of 6 innocent Americans into cash, another thread devolves into outrage at what the "other" side is doing. OUTRAGE, I tell you! Certainly MY "side" isn't doing anything so shameless, and if they appear to be, then their intentions are pure, of course.

Keep beating each other over the head. Stop the horrible liberals! Down with conservatives! Fight!

Using any and every political/national event as a premise to demonize the other guy makes a lot more sense than paying attention to the bipartisan assraping you're getting from your elected "representatives" and their sponsors.
