Good possibility that it is. ATS only has something like five tri-drive Peterbilts, I know his is red, not sure what colors the others are and last time I spoke to him he mentioned that he was pulling a 15-axle trailer and he was headed south to Texas.

If I had met up with Cooper at the TA truckstop when he was in town, I don't think I would have had a problem picking out his truck from the sea of others (like he thought I would). 🤥

Nope not me I have a wife & kids that I like to watch grow up and be hands on with (especially my wife). I give you OTR guys credit jamming gears and living in your trucks for 300+ days a year isn't what I call enjoyable. I started driving so I could make great money and have a fun life, not so I could make great money and send it home so my family could have a great life while I sleep in a truck. I love driving and even now I bring home $650 a week working three days part-time, and I sleep in my bed every night.

Thanks! I can say this driving has providing me with a fun life, and it's sad that more young people are not interested in driving.

Cooper does what he has to do to provide for a family that he loves. He puts his family's happiness and well-being ahead of his own because he loves them more than he loves himself. He's a good husband and a good father - few "men" are man enough to put themselves and their own happiness anywhere but head of the line. A lot of people are praying every day that Mike will be able to find comparable pay at a job that will allow him to be at home with his family, where he WANTS to be.

What does praying have to do with finding a trucking job? If you want a trucking job all you have to do is call a terminal manager and apply. In Springfield, MO I could have a full time trucking job paying me $55,000 - $75,000 a year in less then a week and I would be home every night, and around these parts that is good money. In all my years driving I've learned a few things and one thing is for sure, if an OTR driving wants to be home he can be home. A lot of guys like to whine & complain and tell people they want to be home but in reality they don't want to deal with their family so they stay gone. You might be able to convince a non driver that you can't find a job, but a driver knows that there are always jobs if you have a clean record and good work ethic. Also if a local job pays less then an OTR job then you cut back on expenses, because spending time with your kids is way more important then jamming gears.

Yeah I don't think I will be giving that out to random people on an internet forum. I will say this Dayton, Estes, Overnight, ABF, UPS, FedEx, YRC, Dohrn & Old Dominion & many others all run around the area and most start day peddlers at $22-$28 an hour. So considering $26 straight time for 40 and time & a half for 10 every week you rake in around $74,000 a year. The last full time peddler job I did I worked from 4am to 4pm and it was fantastic and the money was even better!
