I am shocked that this little tidbit of Planned Parenthood history appears to not be more widely known.

I am almost to the point of needing to feign outrage.

In the case of rape or known birth defect, leave the option open to the expectant parent(s). But do not fund it with government dollars. The rest of PP's services and education are valuable to thousands of people and should not be taken away.

As to the death penalty. If a person, in their right mind, commits a crime as terrible as taking another person's life, by all means line them up against a wall and pull the trigger.

Robert,,

Sadly you are ignorant to the beginings of Planned Parenthood..

Google Margaret Sanger..

Yes, I was ignorant, having never heard of her before. So, I just Googled Her, Planed Parenthood, and the two organizations that became Planned Parenthood. Some of her thoughts, speeches and writings are shocking. I would never support those things. But I am still pro-choice.

Planned Parenthood was started to keep minorities, the poor, and other “undesirables” from over breeding. Racism at it's very worse. Of course their supporters like to hide this little tidbit of history.

Robert, if you don't mind me asking. What is your feeling on the death penalty?
This interests me with people that are "pro-choice".

Ok, I'll give you that, as it doesn't mean PP currently holds those views. BTW, in her book she also refers to Hitler's views on eugenics, and though disturbed by his mass slaughters, finds value in his basic premise. This lady was a wack case.

Absolutely no doubt at all that she was a repulsive whack-job. Notwithstanding this, that doesn't make every notion she conjured or idea she implemented is automatically bad.

(perfectly encapsulated IMO)

Of course, there are closet racists & self- haters who are relieved at the idea that were it not for their Planned Parenthood there would probably be 50% more minorities.

So I guess this proves you're only a maven in your own mind.................Kind of like a "LEGEND" we once had around here.

We all know what PP does Rick.........and IMHO the bad outweighs the good. You want to support these cold hearted murdering basstards,do it out of your own pocket.

My suspicions are that most of these left wing organizations would dissolve rapidly if left to be funded solely by their supporters.

I dunno. If the tree is poisonous to its roots, odds are the fruit of that tree will be just as deadly.

The whole point of personal responsibility is that you are less inclined to dance upon the strings of puppeteers with hidden agendas.

Then again, a rubber - or, heaven forbid, keeping your legs crossed - is a far cheaper alternative all around.

The whole point of mass-abortions in the first place is population control. Do you honestly think that the millions of abortions performed each year has anything to do with rape, incest, or the life of the mother? The vast majority of them come as a consequence of people avoiding their responsibility. And it is those very same "irresponsible" people that Planned Parenthood wants to "help."

You might want to take a good look at the people that Planned Parenthood has targeted for their "assistence."

As the saying goes: actions speak louder than words.
