well I just hung from a call from my accountant..

He started the conversation with I have good news and bad news which do you want first ?

I said to give me the bad news first... (we just started a new business last year)

He replied that after deductions your net personal income was only $xx,xxx. So your officialy poor! So now you are a DEMOCRAT...

The good news is you only have to pay $800 in Federal Taxes!!!

I guess being poor has it's advantages!!!

Of course I wish he said I owed $200,000 in taxes and that was still a Republican! LOL

PS: Congrats on your "first year" of survival btw. 3 out of 5 businesses fail within 3 years (probably worse now), but with your pedigree I think you'll do well.

Thanks, we are in the black, making enough to pay for my electric bill and utilities, now if we could pay for our cars and food not to mention cigars! 🤦

We have sold 8 territories so far, (1 closed) so we have 7 now, we had a great start but haven't added any new franchises in several months... My magic number is about 12 territories open..after about 2 or three years open they should generate a pretty good revenue stream... as long as my bank account lasts that long!!! (Bloody, I'm a master franchise in the Senior in home care business). I miss the car business, but certainly not the hours and aggravation that went with it)
