Our system of checks and balances (Campaign donation checks and politician bank balances) ensures that no matter whether it's a Republican or Democrat we will have plenty of both, with minor differences in degree. It's all just a matter of tax and spend or borrow and spend.

No one has ever lived in this country with their ideal leadership in place for their entire life. The task is to make it work, not to sabotage...hence the demise of the Tea Baggers in congress.

A viable third and even fourth party (why not?)will not happen if the loudest whiners jump ship as soon as defeat is apparent. Traction takes time to build but most of the worst whiners abandon their own principles just to defeat what they abhor rather than investing sweat and time equity into creating a better alternative. Quitters are lazy by definition. So much easier to spray poison.

Building a winner would help America more than trying to play the spoiler in every pennant race.
