Temecula contracts their police through the county sheriff's department. It's less expensive that way.

Murietta, our neighboring city, has their own PD and they get paid a lot more. They roll 3 deep on traffic stops sometimes. Whoever runs Murietta's budget must be doing a good job. *shrug*
