Did you all hear that there are people starving in Africa?
There is not enough going on here to talk about with the market taking a header, unemployment, BHO, credit rating etc, etc, etc, that they feel the need to tell us that a land where people have been starving since time began is starving once again?
Sorry to be a nozzle but when I was watching for a while this afternoon (need to get my news from multiple sources-balance) that's all they talked about even though the market died today. 🐴
I changed the channel and felt better instantly.

Somalia is the armpit of the world. Savages that are killing their own people.

We were told of famine in 1992 also. Well I was there in December 1992 with 1stBn, 7thMar. There were very few kids with flies on their eyeballs, just a bunch of lazy nomads that crapped in the buildings and lived in mud huts outside of sheltered dwelllings. There were some starving people out in the outskirts (Bardera, etc

They do nothing all day. They have an ocean with fish, but refuse to do so. They are thieves that steal from each other.

I heard the firefight and received the radio call of "Marine down" on January 12th, when PFC Arroyo was shot in the head just under the helmet line. I got to wake up the Colonel and deliver the news. They are not worth even one person's lives. They are worthless garbage of people.

No amount of food, medical, or armed (or unarmed) intervention is going to change the behavior of these scumbags.

I have been to other ravaged countries, and never witnessed the same amount of savagery and lack of self respect as Somalians display.

I would actually rather watch the market tank than listen to the garbage about Somallia and their "blight".

I'm sure Fuzz will be along to tell me exactly how it is in Somalia shortly and tell me how wrong I am though. That will make me feel wonderful.

Someone needs to re-evaluate his priorities as well.

Here's the thing: The Clinton News Network doesn't want to make Obama look bad so they shine the light elsewhere. When Bush was POTUS, CNN centered on everything he did wrong and made it their focus to discredit him. In fact, most networks did. What's worse, they networks worked so hard to discredit Bush that they made up crap (it cost Dan Rather his job). CNN doesn't want to do that with Obama because they are trying to keep him in office. It's the old "deflect" tactic.

What a surprise (not!). The media has been manipulating the American public for a long, long time. But, I will say that I think the media is at its worst and most unethical point in history. This video kind of highlights how far they will go.

Really?

I thought the all-time low was when they were smearing Palin...some here bought in to it too...that her baby was her daughter's and she was covering it up. That was really an all-time low.

Looking back at the way Bush handled the press...all I can say is what a guy. History will remember him more fondly than the arrogant idiot we have in there now. Even now there are Dems with "buyer's remorse" in high up with the organization that are now wishing they would've backed Hillary!

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/08/07/hillary-clinton-2012-calls-grow-with-anger-at-obama-debt-capitulation.html

This is why you don't put inexperienced people at the helm. There WILL be tough calls to make. EVERY single one this Kenyan King has made has been wrong. DEAD WRONG. UNAMERICAN WRONG. UNCONSTITUNTIONALLY WRONG. Why everyday Americans bought into his schtick blows my mind. WTF were you really thinking voting in a blank page like this moron?

Now the media is ginned up on Bachman, Romney and anyone else that is a credible threat to taking their idol down. The Progressives have waited a LONG time to finally have their hands on the tills of all 3 forms of US government. So far, they failed so bad that America is repudiating the Hope and Change it wanted with decisive defeats. The media isn't what it was 20 years ago. Thank God the internet is alive and well for anyone with a critical thinking mind to use and find out the facts faster that you can google up Obama's fake ass birth certificate!

They have an agenda and have shown their true identity. BELEIVE THEM! They're not lying. They will say and do ANYTHING to push their agenda down the road and crumble America into some 3rd world status.

Democrats doubt Barack Obama's reelection chances

President Barack Obama is facing mounting doubts within his own party about his re-election prospects, with fellow Democrats beginning to ask if Hillary Clinton would have made a better president.

Mr Obama's approval rating has fallen dramatically since the killing of Osama bin Laden in early May

7:56PM BST 09 Aug 2011

Mr Obama's capitulation to Republicans in the recent tussle over deficit reduction is being seen as the lowest point of his presidency and the latest in a series of blows to the liberal agenda.

Faced with the staunch opposition of the Tea Party contingent of the Republican Party, he agreed to widespread cuts in government spending without winning any revenue increases in exchange.

Finding it hard to defend his often listless and repetitive performances, Democratic strategists and commentators are privately agreeing with Republicans and comparing Mr Obama to Jimmy Carter, another Democrat who remains the post-war benchmark for a

failed president.

"He is a do-gooder at heart," said Morris Reid, a Washington consultant and former Clinton official. "He thinks everyone has the same agenda to do the right thing, but other people don't have the same agenda. Their agenda is to score points and get their party re-elected.

"This is the downside of him not being terribly political like Bill Clinton was. Bill Clinton woke up every day relishing this kind of fight, and Hillary is just a tougher person. The Clintons are much more combative, they are always ready to go to Defcon 1 ('war is imminent' state)."

Well, when you go all Hopey Changy it's hard to hit Defcon 1...what with your head all in the clouds romping around with the unicorns, lollipops and rainbows...can't really imagine anyone stomping in the pie-eyed dream world with a War Machine!
