You fail to see that im comparing true evil to something that society as a whole does and the catholics don't have any sort of monopoly on corrupting influence theirs is more in line with society per capita. But that doesn't reflect your distain for organized religion so I guess there is that.

is evil. Tolerate a lesser evil to promote a greater good? Like it's okay to invade, fight and kill people because they are uncivilized savages who need to be converted, something the church did for centuries along with the countries it had influence over.

Covering up sexual abuse of children because the 'greater good' is keeping the reputation of the church clean.

You know, stuff like that.

And you're right, I am not a fan of organized religion, not a single one.
