Thanks, for the Curtis Mayfield prompt, Palama. Dug out the only soundtrack I ever bought: Dead Presidents.

Edited after I remembered that I also had Purple Rain and Blues Brothers. Dead Presidents is better than either of those, but they're pretty good in their own rights.

"If You Want Me To Stay", by Sly & The Family Stone
"Walk On By", by Isaac Hayes
"The Payback", by James Brown
"I'll Be Around", by The Spinners
"Never Never Gonna Give You Up", by Barry White
"I Miss You", by Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes
"Get Up & Get Down", by The Dramatics
"(Don't Worry) If There's a Hell Below, We're All Going to Go", by Curtis Mayfield
"Do Right Woman, Do Right Man", by Aretha Franklin
"Where Is The Love", by Jesse Campbell (singer) & Trina
"Tired Of Being Alone", by Al Green
"Love Train" by The O'Jays
"The Look Of Love", by Isaac Hayes
"Dead Presidents Theme" by Danny Elfman

Looks like a pretty good bunch of songs and if I didn't already have 9 (...maybe 10...) of them, would consider looking for and buying it.

Cranking BB King's Live at Apollo from '91 while wearing a t-shirt from the 2003 show at Benedum Center in Pittsburgh, PA. An awesome shirt that simply shows him cradling Lucille.

Yesterday: 25-group school rock band concert (all ages) playing everything from Meghan Trainor to Iron Maiden. (Proud to be the coordinator of that event and those school groups.) My two groups: Ozzy, Eagles, Adele, and Hendrix. Highlight of the show, of course, was a tribute to B.B.

been pairing Sunday mornings with classical station WCRB. still no idea what I'm hearing, but thanks to some subtle guidance from Fiddler, lots of enjoyment comes my way.
