Went to the Salvation Army Store with my wife, and searched the CD rack....found a disc by Les Dudek, who I'd never heard before, the song list showed some blues, so for $2, I took a chance...it was worth the $2....

Been a fan of his since his appearance on the Allman Brothers “Brothers and Sisters” and subsequent work with Boz Scaggs. Loved his first solo album, “City Magic” was my favorite cut.

Lou Reed - New York

Favorite LR solo album. Used to play the cassette over and over in the car.

79F / 73% RH / 13 mph - warm but not as humid today, the breeze certainly keeps things cool tonight

I guess I have heard him before, then....I'm an Allman's fan, and love me some vintage Boz Skaggs.
I thought his name sounded familiar, but I couldn't place where from...I must have read it in liner notes before and it left a mark...either way, I'm glad I took the $2 gamble. I'll be looking for his name in my future flea market music hunts...Thanks for the info Conan🍺

^^^ Great minds think alike. ^^^

Just searched Spotify and playing some Les Dudek too! Selected the first album, we used the guitar intro part of “City Magic” to start our son’s h.s. graduation party video.

83F / 62% RH / 12 mph - vacuumed the house, changed the sheets, no complaints from the wife when I told her I was gonna go outside and “do my thing” - it’s code for “smoke a cigar”. 🇨🇮

The birds chirping. Geese squawking down by the lake. Wild turkeys gobbling. At dusk, the coyotes screaming and howling down in the valley. Should be soon now. Natures music is unparalleled.
