They did not want a Government that was guided by the specific tenets of any ONE denomination or religion for that matter. They had, however, incorporated their Judeo-Christian beliefs into every day American life. This is evident every time a secularist attempts to shut down prayer, nativity scenes, mention of God, and other religious traditions intertwined into our culture.
