Just switched over to ESPN2 and college basketball is on! It doesn't matter who's playing. I'm just glad it's back.

No, it doesn't matter or mean much until March Madness! Then the fireworks begin as a lowly seeded team upsets the big powers and makes it to the final four!!!! March and college basketball is great!

Thank god. The wait over Summer is the worst one......the anticipation of the new college BB season. March is the greates, yet saddest Month of the year. My birthday, March Madness make it the greatest. Then once the Finals are over, it is the saddest. GO HEELS!!!!!

Charlie: agreed -March Madness is what college basketball is all about. It's the only time I really pay attention to it, the rest is just weeding out the winners and losers.

I agree, if you're not from MARYLAND then the hoops are no fun 'til March. HEHHEH

I'd rather watch a "mean nothing" college basketball game any time than watch regular tv programing. If you only watch in March you are missing a great sport.

I agree about March Madness but the whole college basketball season in whole is great to watch. The crowds, the energy and the rivalry's are what make college basketball and football awesome. I don't think the Heels will have a complete turn around from last year but I expect there to be an improvement. They'll be back, let's give Matt another year to get some of his recruit's in and then we'll take down them damn Pukies! GO HEELS! 20-year Heel fan.

at the age of 9, I went to my first NCAA hoops game at the University which turned out to now be my Alma Mater and I was immediately hooked ... right after we began dating, I got my wife hooked too ... one of our first dates was to a hoops game at the U's old field house ...

I've checked out their schedule this year and see they play a couple of games in CA this year ... I just might have to arrange another January trip to San Diego ... and I've just GOT to thank whoever makes the schedules ... San Diego in January ... how tough is THAT?

I have to agree with everyone , college basketball is the best. Can't wait to watch Duke beat up NC.

Good win for the Heels last night..Rutgers is a decent team that should give some of the big-dawgs in the Big East some problems. That win was a huge confidence builder. Things are looking better for UNC hoops, especially after last year.
