Here's what I don't get--if we live in an era of "enlightenment and respect" in which all cultures are deemed equal, shouldn't we be okay with someone eating dog in a culture where that is accepted?

By the same token, prostitution is legal in Colombia. Shouldn't we applaud the Secret Service for celebrating Colombian culture?
