But I still remember some holy hand grenades tossed from your direction. In fact I'm busting many of the EZ's you sent out for next weekend after I finish repainting the deck the color Mrs 123 has been pining for. Power washed yesterday, today wood putty, sanding and painting the "cracks". Going from diarrhea brown to slate gray, should be nice and I'm gonna get a few 12 packs of beer to celebrate over the weekend-starting Friday.

Planning on replacing with plastic wood in a few years so I can forget the yearly painting. We have a western exposure in the back and the South Texas sun is brutal. For now the lighter color should help a bit with reflective heat. We have a cover but the way the sun hits its full on after about 2pm, that's when we become front porch sitters under the oak.
