I got to tour Dan Quayle's Air Force Two B-707 when it came to RDU back in the early 90's. This was right after Bush, Sr. had taken delivery of the B-747 fleet.
It was also the airplane that James Baker used extensively for his shuttle diplomacy before the start of the Gulf War. Cool Aircraft.

Oh, and I once rode an elevator with Obama in the Senate Hart building. This was during the period that the media was peeing on themselves wondering if he would accept Oprah's nomination for the presidency.

Ryan is a hard to the right choice for a middle right candidate, how did that work last time?

Very cool about the jet, Jet, but I wouldn't talk about being in the elevator w/Obama much unless you passed gas.

McLame was actually buoyed by the Alaskan chatterbox. Let's face it, the singing maverick didn't really want to be elected. The old boy just loves his theatrics (name in limelights). Nothing much to see there.

Romney, on the other hand, may have something more to offer. Not much perhaps, but certainly more of a business working model resume than a sweet- talkin' Chicago pimp street organizer.

I know....really! I've been telling people to get under the Obama Cone of Protection while they still can!

Let's face it.....although people will think he's gonna make it rain, they're just going to be disappointed again meanwhile under the Cone it is raining with champagne!

Wheel I even stayed up late for you!

Agree with TW don't see this pick doing much for the swing votes this was an establishment pick. Mittens made a safe play.

My vote was cast last year. Been stretching my ankles out ever since.

So it will be white collar layoffs all around, and Walmart wages for the rest. Its the Romney way.

I love ya Brother but thats nothing but a wasted vote that puts Obumma right back in the drivers seat.I'm not real happy with our 2 party system either......but I'll be damned if I'll waste my vote in protest just to let bastids currently in the Whitehouse pile drive us 4 more years.

BTW I like Ryan alot......He's almost as conservative as me and he does possess a libertarian streak. The independents that use Ryan as an excuse for voting Obumma had full intentions of voting that way all along.
