The point is that people's perception of global warming (hell, probably of most things) is so retardedly short sighted most of the time that they can't even begin to comprehend an issue.
Seriously, if a group of people is more likely to believe global warming/climate change is real simply because they're in a warm room. Or conversely, if they're in an air conditioned room, disagree.... then they shouldn't be allowed to voice an opinion or vote on the matter.
I don't care about the policies/mandates. Those are amusing at best, an irritant at worst.
The fact that you only look at this from one side is interesting (ie, everything is fine if no one believes in climate change). You're taking a very skewed look at it (ie, "disciples", "zealots") Shouldn't you be just as concerned that the general public is so willing to make a decision IN EITHER DIRECTION without any bearing on facts?
