I thought I was renting to a nice couple... they agreed on a month to month lease because the house was for sale and they also agreed to keep it nice & clean so it could be shown anytime... a couple months went by with now trouble and then her 2 kids (ages 4 & 6) showed up... then it became apparent drugs were moving in and out of the house... then the checks started bouncing and the house went to ****.... for some reason I became the bad guy tho... still haven't figured that one out... 🤔

Consequences, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

Of course in Texas we also have the "steal the shoes, get thrown out of your apartment" laws. You don't even want to know what happens if you steal underwear . . . . .

Isn't steeling underwear a capitol crime in Texas?

I guess that would depend on whose underwear it was... prolly not for k-mart underwear.... 😟

I think the real shocker here is that someone found something worthy to steal from a K-Mart!

I love the whole "tough story to hear," part.

I remember a story told to me by my Dad about when my Great Uncle attended college and medical school during the depression. On many days, he would go in, buy a cup of hot water, pour a bunch of katsup into the cup, mix it up, and make "tomato soup." Literally, the whole family pulled together to pay his way through school, but he rarely had money for food. So while in school, he took jobs when he could, but often they didn't pay all that well, or at all. After all, t was the Great Depression.

He didn't steal shoes.

I'm willing to bet that the whole story that this kid "needed shoes" is completely bogus as well.

I wondered that also but it was K-mart.... I don't know for sure but I don't think they sell Nikes or Reboks... the kid wasn't trying to steal cool shoes, just different or clean ones I guess... I dunno, I'll go to K-mart and see what they got..... 😟

I buy mine from Costco - the Kirkland brand.

Some of the best, most durable shoes I've ever worn.

Now THOSE I could see stealing...

prolly no Costcos in da ghetto.... 🤔 ya know, it's really not fair that only the rich people who can afford memberships are allowed to save money..... Obama should fix this.... 😟
