For every drunk driver that is caught and charged, there are many, many more that are doing the same illegal thing and are not caught or charged. Same thing applies to the corrupt and criminal actions that have been routine in the financial sector. Yes. Many have gotten their wealth that way that have not been prosecuted for it. Read the Levin report, read about the LIBOR scandal, read about bid rigging for servicing of municipal bond funds.
