For me....I get involved in new technology fields that don't even have a name or are even taught in US universities yet. I'm currently bringing proven green energy technology from Europe to the USA. I'm currently booked for 4 years.

Always look for growth fields. Any technology involving spying on Americans.....internet.....phone.....UAV....financial. As Americans get more whiny and uppity during a decade or so of austerity, we're going to need to keep closer tabs. Of course this all requires green energy.
