Canadians are the nicest people inn the world. They will tell you your nation is financially and morally bankrupt while smiling and apologizing for your plight and your chronic mismanagement.

An Ontarian, an Albertan, and a Newfie are running from the cops. They run into an alley and see a pile of sacks, which they decide to hide in. The cops follow them into the alley and kick the bag with the Ontarian in it. The Ontarian goes "meow!" and the cops go "Ah, it's just a bag full of cats." They kick the bag with the Albertan in it, and he goes "woof!" and they're like, "OK, dog in a bag, whatever." Then they kick the bag with the Newfie in it, and he goes "potato!"

A Newfie is working in his garden one day. A Texan drives up in a huge Cadalliac and stops to see what he was doing.

Texan: What are you doing?

Newfie: Just cultivating my garden.

Texan: Back in Texas I have a huge garden. I jump in my truck first thing in the morning and come sundown I'm not even close to the far side of my garden.

Newfie: Yup, I had a truck like that once.

Q: What do you have when you find a year old Newfie skeleton in your closet?

A: Last years hide and seek winner

George and a Newfie feller were both patients in a mental hospital in St. John’s. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, George suddenly jumped into the deep end.

He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. The Newfie promptly jumped in to save him. He swam to the bottom and pulled George out.

When the medical director became aware of the Newfie's heroic act he immediately ordered him to be discharged from the hospital, as he now considered him to be mentally stable.

When he went to tell the Newfie the news he said, "Newf, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged, since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of another patient, I have concluded that your act displays sound thinking and judgment.

The bad news is, George, the patient you saved, hung himself in the bathroom with his bathrobe belt right after you saved him. I am so sorry, but he's dead."

The Newfie replied "He didn't hang himself; I put him there to dry ... So...how soon can I go home?"

If you want to look the people/person(s) directly in the eye; just look really close into a mirror. We are to blame. We expect our politicians to be different from the general populous. They aren't and we keep telling ourselves that we need our elected officials to be non-greedy, fiscally responsible, morally sound, non-waffling, etc, etc, etc... people when we can't even be these things all of the time in every possible situation. We set the system up and we elect these people. Who else can we blame? Who else should we blame? Look in the mirror folks.

This is not an era of personal responsibility so Buckwheat's theory is invalidated. It must be somebody else's fault.

I know right? I know fees are ridiculous, but I'd rather suck it up and pay the fee than do be "that person" who is holding up boarding and elbowing everyone near him.

"In sum, the government encouraged millions of Americans to spend money they did not have on homes they could not afford, using loans they could never repay and then gave them a tax incentive never to repay it."

Encouraging someone to buy a home is a good thing, but it was up to the banks and other mortgage lenders, who had the ultimate responsibility to approve or deny borrowers (based on more than enough criteria) and they all failed miserably.

But it's the government's fault because they encouraged people to buy homes? That's effing brillant Canadia. Maybe the US should encourage you to pay them back for the military protection we've provided you all these years?

No fees for First Class passengers on Delta. Or if your carry on is too cumbersome the crew will throw it into the back of the plane for you. On connecting flights that use Canadian commuter jets with undersized overheads they will check the bag on the jet way and return it upon landing.
