The problem is the idiots who give comedians and actors credence by believing their opinions matter.

The video was posted on funnyordie.com ... Well, it wasn't funny, soooo ... (?)

He lated tweeted, β€œThere r also many fair minded [people] out there and I appreciate their support [but] I love [everyone] whether we agree or not.”

So, he loves the people he mocks. He uses washed up & tired 80 y/o stereotypes to demean Rural America.

So, with all the fuss about this I decided to go see the whole video. Dudes, it's some funny stuff!
I do get why some folks would not have a sence a humor about it though. Too bad.
Reminds me of how the wing nuts went after the Dixie Chicks.

More interesting is the organized network response by Fox. They just spin out.
Check out the vid-

Well maybe biting social commentary is not for everyone. But 'his chariot ain't swingin' low' - it is to laugh.

I think "biting social commentary" is way too generous.

I can't score it as anything more than a publicity stunt to try and get people to remember his name. I do love when the Fox News talking heads lose their minds!

For Fox, anything they have an opinion to push, a talking point to recite - is 'news'.

At least if you watch, you won't have to wonder what to think. They'll tell you - over and over.
