Schools in Massachusetts are forced to allow the opposite sex to try-out for any sport when an "equivalent" is not available. Baseball and softball are examples of equivalents, so guys can't play on girls softball nor girls on baseball.

My daughter plays field hockey, and a local charter school has no "male equivalent" so guys play on that team and play against my daughter.
They wear the full uniform, including the skirt.
They are not pansy boys, they are big and athletic and play ice hockey during that season.
The rules have been modified to accommodate this: The boys can't score twice in a row, or something silly like that. If this is an attempt to force "equality" then it's a total failure by short sighted liberals.

Another story that I'm not as directly involved with concerns a local school with no boys swim team. Boys therefore swim on the girls team, and have been for over a decade. No big deal, right?
Well now some boys are breaking records. First school records, but what about tomorrow and the state records?
So your daughter who might have gained the attention of certain colleges by being the best on her team is now just a third place swimmer and lost in mediocrity.

So the next question is: Will transgendered boy-to-girl students be just as successful? Will biological girls be injured by testosterone laden she-males in the contact sports?

At what point is enough enough?

These are two very different conversations. For sports, I see no reason why schools shouldn't just adopt whatever standards the Olympics have for gender/genotype in sports. To do otherwise would create an environment which would be unsuitable for their highest level athletes. Since sports are by nature competitive, it's stupid to have rules that aren't in line with the most competitive levels of that sport.
