I think all this talk is moot. The dice have already been rolled.

You could elect a modern day Charlemagne who implements a new/improved Code of Hammurabi and still get no resolution. This country will go the way of the USSR and Yugoslavia. We have allowed a marvel to be destroyed. Civil War awaits. We too will get a taste of Spain's prewar experience before the real war begins. Until then, we quibble about bad words to be fined in the NFL and Lebron James's color of mask. Children with their obsessions... 🍺

I am expecting a real life secession of Cali and the US Southwest in our lifetime.
At which time, China, Roosia & their Third World minions will demand nonintervention by our Government and hedgemony be granted similar to Greek city states.
Then, once they F that up, they'll begin to migrate north again.
