to me, the point is neither side is the party of God and Morality. Time for everyone to grow up and stop pretending the party that they agree with owns purity. Clearly on c-bid, the vast majority leans right. You have different views on how things should be done, but your membership does not have a cleaner record than those you disparage.
There are creeps on both sides of the aisle. Their voting records may appease supporters and stir them to rise up in defense, but that doesn't make them more acceptable creeps.
Once one stops feeling superior, a meaningful dialog can ensue.
