I'm not sure what my next play will be.

If he isn't a rapist, then I suspect your son will be fine. I'm sure you were naked in unsupervised locker rooms plenty of times in front of gay boys and men throughout your life, yet somehow managed to stay un-buggered.

Well victor we differ slightly.

See you say "You're Sure"..... I was there and I'm NOT sure.

See I was never around any openly gay guys until after my college years. Wait, no I was 20 and Yancy worked in the same dept as me. And he never talked to me about being gay

And we sure weren't naked together.

Today I have no issue being in a locker room with a gay man for several reasons.
No gay man would find this attractive
They just don't freak me out anymore
I'm bigger than 99.9% of gay men, so I could whip his Azz if he stepped toward me.

I just don't like the idea of the guy talking his sexual preference in front of my son while he's changing.

Gene wants to check the genitalia and genetics of every teen going in or out of every bathroom or lockerroom.

But he's totally for smaller government.

victor809 wrote:

It could be done by a simple kick in the crotch, but only of you ask to use the, 'other' bathroom. Seriously, school registration pretty well covers that process without any additional government intrusion. You get an A for effort however.

Why would a father care?

I mean, I can understand this being a bit of a pain in the butt for administrators. But why a father?

And why would you be so rude as to call her "him" when she has specifically requested that she be referred to as "Her"?

victor809 wrote:

conversations stop right there, for you are ill equipped to comment further.

I know a lot of guys who don't have kids.
None are so stupid as to post a question like that.

Dammit! 🤦 I have to agree, no more likely to molest your sons than a straight kid your daughters. Teenagers are slam full of hormones and apt to do some stupid things however. IMO, they demand closer watching than five year olds. This applies regardless of the orientation.

I wouldn't want any guy talking about strange in front of my 12 year old.

But my issue isn't the conversation so much. It's the exposure to advancement.

Unacceptable! Well, unless it was some old whore.[sarcasm]

Actually, we have two sons and discussed just this thing when they were young. Kissing and telling, don't do it, worse yet, not kissing but telling a lie, es no bueno.

I see what you're saying Paul and yes, I would have a problem.

It's a sad day , in my opinion, when this happens, but the fed courts ban the band from playing a song.

So this happened to me yesterday, and I don't know how I feel about it yet.

Ocho is 12 in the 7th grade. He goes to the high school everyday to run with the high school cross country team.
So yesterday he has a meet and he's talking to me between stretching and the race start. He's talking about who his buddies are and how they like to good off sometimes. So this really tall high school boy bends over in front of us stretching. I said go push that dude over for pointing his butt right at us.
Ocho says," I'm not touching that dude, he's gay. Noway I'm touching his butt". I asked, how do you know he's gay. I was thinking Ocho just didn't like the guy and had herd his buddies call him that. So Ocho says," because he tells us all the time how he likes guys".

So last night the protective dad gears start turning. This guy is over a foot taller, 4 years older and has about 50 lbs on my kid.
He's in the same locker room with my 12 year old. This dude is almost a legal man. All the xc coaches are female so they aren't in the locker room when they change.

I'm not sure what my next play will be.

Mattie B wrote:

First of all, I agree with you and understand your concerns.

But these are the inherent risks when you send a 12 year old to the High School.

If your kid is too young to be in that environment, then he shouldn't be there.

Are you suggesting that my son should quit the team?

See I don't send him the high school. That's the schools policy.

Why should my kid suffer or be at risk because of a 17 yr old gay guy?

Mattie B wrote:

You serious?

The 17 gay kid is likely not a threat to other high school kids.

Your concern is because Ocho is only 12.
If he were 16 or 17 I don't think we're even talking about this.

What would you seriously want to do?
Kick out the 17 year old for being gay? For being gay while being older and taller than Ocho?

Think about what you're saying.

I think the biggest question I have is:
Why did you tell Ocho to touch the gay kids ass?
That's what started this whole ordeal.

To me it's no different than putting a straight guy in the girls locker room.

I don't want the gay kid kicked out. That would make no sense. But sense HE wants to be different( talking about being gay) let him change in the coaches office. I say remove the exposure to incidents.

And Ocho was speaking of how his buddies rough house with each other. So in that context plus he pointed his butt at us, I said go push that kid over.
Mattie B

I think you have a son Tail. If not, I know we would never see eye to eye

But put your son in the same environment. Would you not have concerns?

Here's a 17 yr old who is 6' 165 lbs standing naked, talking about how he loves boys to a 12 yr old.

Sorry, but that screams issues to me!!! On many different levels.
