There most certainly was a great surprise awaiting me. I shall review and suggest puts/takes after I'm done with dinner.

Current CC's in Box:

Monte 1
Monte 1
Petite Monte 2
Monte 2
Cohiba Siglo 3
Cohiba Siglo 3
Cohiba Siglo 3
Partagas Serie D No. 4
H Upmann Magnum 46
San Cristobal de La Habana el Príncipe
Unknown shaggy unbanded of similar size to Siglo 3's with slight injury to wrapper

CC's I have to put:

Fonseca Delicias (40 x 4.84)
Bolivar Robusto (50 x 4.88)
RyJ Coronitas en Cedro (40 x 5.08)

Consider me a CC novice. I've only had one and that was in Scotland 20 years ago. These that I have to put were all part of trades and gifts through CBid forums. (I believe that SmokeYou was responsible for a couple of them.) I only have one of each, and have never tried any of them. Any recommendations on what to do?

My opinion definitely pick up a cohiba siglo 3 save the Romeo and Juliet for yourself then I would lean towards either a Monte number 1 or the partagus serie D for your second choice again that's just based on my opinion.

If you wanted to sample the Cohiba Siglo 3 and Mont 1 and put NC cigars, I think that would be okay seeing as there are multiples of those (and they were the seeds from 😎 and this is a Noob CC pass. You should smoke the 3 CC you have and nab 2 more to figure out what you like.

So here is the deal. I have a couple boxes off CC's but I would like to try some different ones.
I will put a box of CC's together.

5 Cohiba Siglo III
5 Monte cristo #1

I will send the box out to the first person to sign up. They take 1 or 2 and replace them with CC's of their own. They send to the next person on the list. At the end I am hoping there is a good variety of smokes left over.

If you are a true Noob and have no CC's you can still play I will just put you towards the end of the pass. You can replace with Non CC's just make sure they are decent sticks.

The ideas is for people to mix it up. I am more worried about variety then value so lets have some fun.
If you are in post here and PM me your address.

This is correct /\/\/\ and a good idea and will allow you to sample more CC'S overall.

Thanks, fellas. Great advice. I look forward to sampling and learning about all of my CC's, over time. It somehow feels wrong to trade/gift a cigar that has been given to me if I haven't smoked one before. I'm glad you are OK with NC puts.

Proposed takes:
Monte 1
Siglo 3

Proposed puts:
Ashton Cabinet VSG Spellbound (7.5 x 54)
LFD Double Ligero Chisel (6 x 54)

I got 4 of the Ashtons in a humidor I bought from someone this summer. They have some serious age on them. The shape of band looks to be a number of years old, as it doesn't match the current shape for the VSG Cabinets. I found images from 2005 with bands of this shape, so who knows how old it truly is? After a careful 60-day rehab in my humi, I smoked one and it totally blew my hair back. Amazing, amazing cigar. I've gifted the other two and am happy to add it to the pass, if acceptable. I've had it at 65% humidity and 65 degrees for a total of 120 days now.

The LFD has been in my humi since 12/10. Smoked one of its brothers tonight. Excellent smoke.

I have an aged Fuente Don Carlos #2 that I got in the same deal as the Ashtons that I could substitute for the LFD, but it has a cracked wrapper. Not sure if anyone wants to work around that.

I welcome your thoughts!

Just re-read my comments. Just to be clear, the LFD is from 12/10/2016 and not 2010. I could have been more clear, sorry.

I did smoke one of its siblings last night and found it to be excellent. I can hunt for something else, if desired.

Plz let me know.

I just meant good call on enabling NCs for PUTS. Nobody expected it to be 2010 but a couple good cigars none the less.
