But how do you know what you believe to be the truth is actually the truth? How are you sure the outlets which have told you what the "truth" is weren't simply lying?

You can joke about it, but you have no idea what the truth is any more than I do. You are assuming "the media" is covering up the truth because you have chosen to believe what a different group of media has told you is the truth. One or both of these groups has just as high a likelihood of lying.

30,000+ missing e-mails, a server professionally wiped clean, destroyed cell phones, lying (perjury) to Congress, which BTW was one of the reasons Martha Stewart was sentenced. I don't think I need to continue. If that would have been a Republican (think Nixon) he/she would have been out of the race by now.

But the media chooses to run around like a chicken with its' head cut-off trying to dig up dirt on Trump and turn a blind eye on the lying corrupt, career politician.

I believe this is the reason why good and decent people don't run for office anymore (sorry Jack, I don't mean you).

I don't argue the emails are missing, I don't argue that there were destroyed cell phones etc.

This all was on the media months ago. Nothing new has popped up of any interest. I said back then that this was a dumb move by someone who should have known better. I also thought it was potentially dangerous. But this was all investigated by the people who are supposed to investigate this stuff, and they decided it wasn't bad enough to require charges.

Thats the end of what we actually know.

Honestly, the more Clinton gets investigated the more I become impressed with her. If my life were put to the sort of scrutiny and congressional investigations she's had, practically nonstop since 1998, I sure as heck would look guilty of just about everything in the world.

The Republican default has been "they're under investigation, they must be guilty" recently. I am just getting tired of it. That's one of the reasons I didn't want her as the dem nominee, because I just can't stand to listen to another 8 years of this stuff... But, the dems selected her, and the reps selected trump, so I guess we get another Clinton as president.

I'm starting to think the reps don't actually want to win, they just want to waste money investigating anything they can and accomplishing nothing.

Honestly these arguments have started taking on the same type of fervor and lack of logic that religious arguments have. You believe it because the camp you follow tells you it's the truth.
