I've been thinking a bit on this.
Stinger88 is right. I have felt like a little kid, excitedly checking my bare and lonely porch for goodies each night. And I realized something after reading his post. Anticipation + faith is fun. Anticipation without faith sucks. I have faith today. I believe in secret Santas. And I'm having fun anticipating rebuilding my porch after their bombings.
Also, for me, the gift really is in the giving. I had loads of fun studying my targets and then planning and assembling my ordinance for maximal impact. And I felt like an excited little kid as I watched the tracked packages fly, and then waited for the damage reports. It has been great to read the reports from my and the other targets.
Who-da thunk that an auction site forum would have so many cool and amazing chuckleheads to share this stuff with?
Thanks for being part of a great place to hang out, learn, swap and share, my fellow BOTL/SOTLs. I'm truly grateful.
Back to watching my porch.
