A couple weeks ago a new family moved into my condo complex . Not to big of a deal 20th the snowbirds coming back . What was unusual was the cursing and shouting , a moving van blocking the street instead of allowing room for other vehicles to pass, and loud music blaring from an unattended vehicle . My thought was" here goes the neighborhood ".

Is that racism or realism ?

If one of the family members who moved in has already been arrested for attempted murder , at least 2 domestic call before the shooting does it still make it racism ?

Why would you consider it racism?

Were they harassing you because you were white?

If that was a college age fraternity group of white young men moving in I would bet you would say the same thing. Really tired of political correctness. Make America Great Again baby!🌫

I read newsweek... time is too pushy, what with their "wait for no man" policy and such...

Statistically the crime rate increased 300% . I liked the assumptions some people made in ever stated anyone's race .

What it also has done is increased my perception and from what I hear from my neighbors about the stereotypes. I understand it's environment most of the time that causes poor social behavior. I'm going to put the race problem back on the black community. Until everyone starts to teach their children how to behave in public you'll have problems like this . If you take every stereotype that you hear this family exhibits them .

My assumption was you parked the uhaul in the wrong place and all of your new neighbors were mad.

My old man (RIP) used to make his racist heart feel just a little bit better in just the same way....pick out a particularly vile individual to hate on...."I'm not a racist. I'd hate him even if he was white.".....kinda like when he'd say, "Hell, I've got plenty of black friends - I'm not racist"...in the same conversation that he'd condemn integration.....he was a good, maybe great man...but, despite all his protestations, he was, indeed, a racist...."this neighborhood sure was a lot better before"....Before what, Dad? Before the coloreds move near?....."I didn't mean that....just 'before'......poor guy truly believed he could be unbiased

Yep, it was OK then, to be racist, and most everybody was. Heck, even President Truman, the great Truman, uttered a number of racist statements, in public. One if the most famous Truman quotes: "I think one man is just as good as another so long as he’s not a n**er or a Chinaman” – President Harry Truman

Trump seems pale in comparison, but, let me tell you, he is great at division, believe me...oh wait, can
"Mexicans are rapists" be topped?

I'm sure it can be if we take other presidents quotes out of context too... 😟

This will sound silly, but what if the neighborhood WAS better "before"?

If the blacks represented a lower economic class then wouldn't their integration into the neighborhood bring property values down regardless of their skin color?

Seeing reality and stating facts that are mathematically accurate does not make you racist. Using it as an excuse to discredit that segment of the population does.

Unfortunately, today's liberals don't see the difference.

I can't be certain, but I don't think he was talking about property values....He also once said that integrated schools had the likely outcome of pulling down the top performing white kids as the school systems dumb down the curriculum to the lowest common denominator. Factual? Or racist?

It's a racist comment because it makes the assumption that the integrated minorities will be less intelligent.

Schools do dumb things down to the LCD, but it's not based on race. Just stoopidness.
