Hey all - I've been getting new requests every week from Troops asking for cigars. I send magnets with the OpFTH logo and information, along with my email, and I think there's one stuck in every tank over in the sand box. I'm getting requests from places like Jordan and South Korea, too, and why not - those guys and gals are serving our country too!

The upshot of all this is that I'm running low on cigars for the troops - and have cleaned out my personal stash 👻 👻 👻 and spent my allowance, as well. I'm afraid I don't have any more jelly to offer right now, but if anyone would like cigars or other goodies to go out to the troops, I'd appreciate the help. Everything goes out within 10 days of receipt.

Current requests are cigars, cigarettes, dip and pipe tobacco, along with OD green "super-socks", protein powder (which has to be in bags or containers that will fit in a 5"x12"x12" box), protein bars, trail mix, jerky and powdered drink mix.

Guys have asked for "Covert Threads Rock Infiltrator Socks" (or similar), you can search by that and find them, and several folks here have generously sent some pairs for me to send along. They're very popular. Nothing is more miserable than unhappy feet...

Was going to send a few cigars off this weekend, so I'll direct them your way now.

I will put something together. I have other cigars I need to send out. Might as well go in with an armful if boxes.

Cigars and pipe baccy will get packed up this weekend.

Here's a suggestion for you pipers. See, I find myself opening a tin of pipe baccy and then putting it up with a moistener disk after one or two bowls if it isn't in my flavor profile. The intent was to go back to it in a few months. I had a shelf full of them. Good baccy, but if I haven't gotten back to it by now, I most likely wasn't going to. So, I emptied all those tins into baggies to lower the weight and labeled them. Time for them all to go where they are more needed and appreciated.

It's a win-win. The troops get good pipe baccy, and i get to open new tins with all the joy that comes with the experience.

Will send out smokes on Wednesday.

Time to dig into my stash and get off my ash. I have smokes that need to find a new home and also time to go shopping for the the other stuff. Long weekend so there is no reason why I cant pack up a couple "if it fits, it ships" boxes of stuff.
