Over the years, (go back as far as you want), which 5 albums/cd's have you played the most.

Mine would be, (in no particular order) . . .

Sonia Dada - Their 1st one.

WAR - "Live" (double CD)

Johnny Otis - "The New Johnny Otis Show with Shuggie Otis"

Elvin Bishop - "Raisin' Hell, Live" (double CD)

Delbert McClinton - "LIVE from Austin Texas"

That would be my five, to the best of my recollection.

Yours ?

Oh man, good question...but gotta go back to the vinyl days and think which albums were always on the turntable either at home or work, copied onto cassette and then years later, bought as CDS and played in the car. In no order, here we go:

Allman Brothers - Fillmore East
Beatles - Abbey Road
Derek and the Dominos - Layla
Little Feat - Waiting For Columbus
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On

No coincidence that all of them are easily in my Top 10 Deserted Island List...if I had a list.

This is tough, have to go back far. Had to think of what which albums, cds, tapes got played MOST. Keep in mind, the question wasn't which ones were your favorites, but which ones you ended up playing most.

Black Sabath Paranoid (when I was little).

Ozzy Randy Rhodes Tribute (first learning to play guitar)

Metallica Master of Puppets (same)

Slayer Reign in Blood (same)

Dr. Dre The Chronic (back in the day, this was power-bait for the little hoodrat chicks).

The one thing that made me pause and think was whether or not I played the w-h-o-l-e album or made a comp tape or CD and just listened to my favorite cuts. While I was growing up, some albums just HAD TO be played from end to end while others I would just play one side or only certain songs.

In addition to my list a few posts above, here are some other albums that have been on my turnatable, cassette deck in my cars and CD players a lot:

Eagles - Desperado
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Vince Guaraldi - A Charlie Brown Christmas
Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Live Rust
The Harder They Come soundtrack
Beach Boys Pet Sounds
Rod Stewart - Never a Dull Moment
Sand - Sand (...most people have never heard of these guys...)
