Ok, so they're not sick yet? I might smoke one tonight. I'll skip the dryboxing; always wanted to know what it is to smoke a fresh rolled smoke.

^^^ You'll know if they've started their sick period with the first couple puffs.

And you will still "know what it is to smoke a fresh rolled smoke" even if you drybox. It will help the tobacco smoke a lot better.

I tried my first one and was extremely pleased. I can only imagine what it will be like with some age.

So Corey hooked me up with an option to trade, sent me a sampler of one of each (4 total) of the Johnny Os. I'll probably try and smoke them all before the sick period hits.

He also sent some body guards:

Sarsaparilla - nh
Laranja Volta - nh
LFD Ligero - love em
Room 101 Uncle Lee - nh
Diplomaticos torpedo - nh

Lot of never hads in this list, look forward to smoking them all.

Thanks man, I'll have to drop my end at the po sometime this week (probably Friday is the earliest I'll be able to do it).

Hell of a hit.

Man very very nice. You are in for an awesome treat. Be prepared to get hooked on all of those. The LFD and Room 101 to me is like crack!

Once Davidoff empties the warehouse of the Uncle Lee they gone forever. 😢

True but there is something that taste different in the Uncle Lee. I have no idea what it is that I taste in them or even how to explain what it is I am tasting, but that is what I am hooked on. The specific taste is also in the Itchbans. I have yet to find any other smoke that has that specific taste. Even the new Room 101 Hit and Run does not have it which was disappointing for me. Granted it is a good smoke but I was so hoping it carried over with Matt.

I really like that overly strong overt taste of the namakubi lancero but that whole "he's leaving the industry" thing doesnt sit well with me. Could have just as easily said "he's splitting with Davidoff."

I thought he did leave the cigar business to explore jewelry, I think what you are seeing now is the stuff that was left in the factories.

I stand corrected, he did come back after a long 6 months. I bet it was a move that negated a non compete in his contract. Plus teaming with Caldwell is like selling your soul to the devil. I agree could have done it in a more political way and returned in an even worse manner.

I'm saying all of that as I'm smoking this Jonnie-O Corona which I must say I feel like I'm smoking something really great here. I like the almost green taste coupled with tobacco sweetness that I'm getting out of this cigar the overall tone is very Cuban but then also I almost taste a light dominican twinge to them. Regardless of where they're really from these are great. I can't pinpoint any one brand but the taste is very familiar.

No burn issues so far I'm halfway through and it's burning right on point. Must have been the long right here but damn are they moist and supple as ever.

I'm ready for a re-buy...

I found the robusto to be better than the corona at this point in time, but feel both will be just fine.
In all fairness, I dry boxed the robbie for 10 hours but didn't dry box the corona at all.

All of yours dry boxed a few extra days.
