Favorite is definitely vodka (rocks, twist), but I find I have to limit myself on that. Goes down way too easily. After that itโ€™s definitely scotch, any region.

Itโ€™s odd that I sell it, but drink very little.

Good beer is my fav
Followed by good bourbon
A close 3rd is Pinot Noir

Iโ€™ve learned to appreciate quality rums.

I feel ya Spey. Iโ€™m always down for a social drink, but I hardly ever have anything at the house. If I do, itโ€™s typically wine with a nice meal.
Iโ€™ve tried countless Chards and just canโ€™t find one I enjoy.

Hope the rum is great. They can offer just as much character(if not more) than bourbon. Give Appleton Estate a try or Rhum Barbancourt (from Haiti). They are very different but really tasty.

I've had Havana Club before in Dominica and loved it... Bought a bottle in Cozumel and I swear it wasn't the same... I wondered if they have fake rum as well as fake cigars... ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

There are two different types of Havana Club.

I donโ€™t recall all of the story, but one is not the original.

I wondered if they added a simple syrup to the rum I had in Dominica.. I ordered it on da rocks not just a shot.. the bottle I bought definitely wasn't what I had befo... The age could be the difference also... The Barbados rum I bought is ten years old. I should go ahead and break the seal... ๐Ÿค”

No one particular favorite but within the categories:

Beer - Porters, stouts, lagers, ales but will drink basically anything other than IPAs and sours

Wine - more of a white guy

Clear - vodka but because my wife likes gin & tonics, will have one with her

Brown - bourbon, definitely bourbon

Gin, French Citadelle, but Kyro from Finland and Jaisalmer from India are good too.

Single Malt Rye Whiskey from Kyro in Finland is fantastic.

Good Champagne is not a bad thing either, but it'll probably cost north of $70 to get me excited. I do not know names, but I have had a couple of flues of a one Champagne that was $200 a bottle at a wine tasting, it was really really good.

Varies from time to time. Bourbon, Single malt scotch, brandy and rum. Beer has been way down in consumption as I have trouble finding my preferred beer and only drink it with Mexican meals and some non sugar snacks.

My favorite is still wine, though I mix in much more sipping hard liquer, neat or a few drips to open it up. I have been exploring Mezcal's lately. As far as wine in whites I have been exploring Italy, in reds I have been revisiting Spain.

When I was drinking, my fav was beer. Stout, porter, bock, IPA. Also liked a good Gin & tonic or vodka tonic now and again with a lime.

I'm not a connoisseur of wines but leaned to the dry wines. My first pick for a red would be a merlot. First pick for a white would be a dry riesling. Although I don't drink anymore, when a recipe calls for wine, I don't hesitate to add it. It adds flavor that another liquid cant replace. NEVER, NEVER, EVER use cooking wine - any drinking wine you pick will be better than the any cooking wine (cooking wine = super sucky wine with salt and $hit added).
