Are they PCs? PCs are my favorite of the Boli line but really can't go wrong with any of their stuff.

You’ll definitely enjoy them. I’d say light one now, to treat yourself, and let the rest nap.

Paul, IMHO those are very good. Hid a couple at the bottom of your humi. I had one with about 5 years of age. It was such a fine treat.

Some freeze all. Many freeze some. I freeze few....unless I am unsure of the source....until/unless I find a beetle hole...on that rare occasion, I've frozen everything within hopping/crawling distance

It's personal preference. I Freeze almost everything that comes in. Sometimes I give nicer cigars a pass, but I always do at least a visual inspection on them.

For quite a while I was freezing everything not giving anything a pass... admittedly I've gotten a bit lazy in that regard.

I still freeze anything going into my overflow cooler because there's no temperature control, but I try not to get to that point, I try to just buy enough to keep my wineador full.

How long do you freeze them for?

what's the temperature in your freezer?

even scientific studies of tobacco beetle larvae are mixed -- but I think most will tell you that with 'ordinary' household fridge and freezer, you should be safe if:
24 hrs in fridge
72 hrs in freezer
24 hrs in fridge

Nothing about those times are absolute. If you have an ultra cold freezer (<-20F) you can get by with less time. Some put the cigars into freezer bags, first. Some use vacuum seal bags. Some just put the boxes in there. I use ziplocs, just because the freezer seems like a pretty dry environment. But, if you really want some science, start up a conversation about RH inside a cigar at various temperatures.
