Although not sure if the Wombat (RIP) liked fish.

More than he liked bacon or salad.

Hope to get a salmon this weekend, out of the river. I used to use a Lamiglas “Kenia King” rod that damn thing was a beast but by the end of the day…..the casting and fighting take their toll.

My uncle Gary that Delta1 looks like used to be in the coast guard, they had a helluva feast once a year on Kodiak Island. Then later he did hazmat and ended up being a very well paid consultant on the Valdez spill. He got free hunting and fishing licenses and got a few halibut. The ones around 100lbs tasted better than the huge ones. Probably could have fought one with that damn Kenia King salmon pole.
