It's like Z was saying in #13 about branding themselves for the future. Guess I watch because I'm a nerd when it comes to some of this stuff. I've already evaluated these people enough to know who I find tolerable...now I just get the popcorn and watch the circus.

As the only anti-war candidate, I find Gabbard to be the least awful. But none of the Dem candidates are going to defeat Trump, so it doesn't really matter who ends up getting the nomination. The only way we will have a Dem president in 2020 is if Trump steps down and Pence runs. ANY of the Dems could beat Pence, cuz that dude is a mannequin with a stick up its a$$.

Not that I saw...but, IIRC, the other 9 just stared with their mouths hanging open.....exact same response as when she said her very first act as President would be to call the New Zealand President and say, "nyah-nyah, you think you're the best....not anymore... We're the best"

Doesn't matter. senate election in 2018 shows that there will not be a change in election results regardless of the candidate. I'm not even bothering to pay much attention to this field of 20 until we're down to a manageable size. Then I'll check out the positions of whoever is going to lose to trump in 2020.

Mayor Pete wasn't a winner, but he gets props from me. He was asked, "WTF is going on in your city, Mayor?" He won't get votes for it, but I appreciated him..."It's on me...I tried, but didn't get it done"....was rather refreshing and sucked the air out of the critique...except from the whiny Swalwell on the end who kept trying to poke Pete with it...Pete just looked at him like "what is wrong with you, dude?"

Mayor Pete gave him the GFY look. I thought Kamala was the big winner. She was prepared and on a different level than everyone else on the stage. I thought Biden was the biggest loser. They took his past record and beat him over the head with it. Even Bernie got in an elbow shot when the ref wasn’t looking. Overall thought it was pretty entertaining.

Quite. Harris came locked and loaded. Nothing spontaneous about the racial shots. Her team was tweeting a pic of 2nd grader Harris headed of to get bussed to school before the debate ended.

Someone described Uncle Joe's replies as little more than 'word salad'....he was looking pretty old...especially when he got tired fumbling his way out of something and said "i think my time is up'....LOL

She may have done well in the debate, but kamalalalading dong will not mobilize black voters like Obama did... Her record out here in California is pretty clear, Kamala Harris don't care about black people...

She definitely has a troubled past...still wonder sometimes about her ability to mobilize a base that doesn’t know any better. She's not someone who would get my vote, but I thought she clearly owned the stage last night.
