They clearly didn't take it seriously. It was sent a week ago and they rejected meeting our emmissaries a day or two ago...

I’m beginning to think the letter was never sent. Maybe Trump was just doing battle rap freestyle with two turn tables and a dictaphone.

I believe the current running joke regarding that statement is that Italy is the one who helped us defend our airports during the war for independence.
