Slow on the uptake, but sent. I echo Spacker's thoughts. You deserve some good smokes

Thank you sir...I do more aging of cigars than smoking of cigars these days. 🙂 I appreciate your donation...more than I can express. Many many thanks.

Four days ago I received an anonymous donation for $50. I have no way of knowing who the donor was. If it was a c-bidder and you're reading this...please send me a message so I can include you in the drawing. The support has been tremendous and I appreciate your support. 9 days left!

Great cause and keep up the body temp and what with our crazy TN weather, maybe you will get lucky once you get out of the water.

Honestly, I had no choice but to jump in the Cumberland River, just North of the lock one COLD late November night back about '99 when I was working on a towboat. The worst part was having to swim back to the boat after getting a line over to a tree, shacke it on the tree, and wait until we could get the barges back together!!

I still see those same two barges as they are docked at the Concrete Company. Just as you cross Rosa Parks Bridge in Nashville you can look north on the west bank and see them. Each of them will hold 3200 tons of dry cement and are 52' wide and 295' long.

Thank you richokeeffe!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry for being out of the loop for a few days. My grandfather passed away after 99 healthy years. He was awesome. He didn't spend a single day in a nursing home or hospital. He ate a bowl of ice cream, went to bed, and passed in his sleep. He always loved talking to me after the plunge...he thought it was crazy that I plunged every year. The funny thing is...he spent a couple of winters sleeping in tents during WWII so this plunge doesn't compare to one minute of what he experienced.

Thank you guys for the support. I'm looking forward to plunging tomorrow and my team has raised over $8,000 so far. I think we'll hit $9,000 by tomorrow if a few of our last minute donors come through. Thanks again and again!!!!

Sounds like a great guy, RIP, Grandpa, and thanks for your service in both cases. Best of luck, this wind chill is rough today, hopefully it will have blown out and be in the 40's tomorrow as the forecast is betting.

Water temp was in the 40's and we raised almost $11,000 for Special Olympics. My 8 year old and 5 year old also took the plunge. 🙂 It was a great event.

I have no way to express my gratitude for your support. I am truly thankful. Tomorrow, I will draw put the appropriate number of entries into a hat and let one of my kids pick the winner. Good luck to all who supported Special Olympics. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
