Frank that’s sort of what I mean when talking about folks getting upset by the protestors not policing their own while ignoring the police’s lack of doing the same.

Was he not arrested and charged with a crime? Because I could have swore he was. In fact, the officers that were there and did nothing are being charged with abetting.

How's that for holding their own accountable?

Like I said, you don't think it happens because you don't see it in the news... but it does. You may think that this happened purely because it was on social media and people are rioting, but I assure you if someone dies in custody there is an investigation. This was going to happen, regardless.

The deputy and Parks employee that lied in court about me didn’t even get a reprimand from anyone except the judge who chewed their asses out in his chambers......

Anyone can have first hand experience, it’s generally limited though.

So in your opinion the protests have no validity because what they are protesting doesn’t exist.

In this case after a bit of time that I would have spent in jail and lots of pressure charges are brought. In many cases they are not or hand slapping happens. Sometimes they get off free. It’s a culture issue and the majority of the nonviolent protestors are not wrong.

In this case four officers participated. They can’t be the only ones that would have. They’ve gotten away with similar before. This time there was video and national attention. Doh! It’s a cultural thing in the Minneapolis police force as well as others. It’s not a one off with these four guys. All you have to do is listen to the police federation dudes speeches to know better.

And some forces are much better than others. The are not the same. Some kneel with the protestors some think pepper spraying them is glorious.

I’ve got my own experience where they blatantly lied on police reports to cover for each other.... until video contradicted them as well as witnesses and nothing happened to the dirty bassards . Thank god for both video and witnesses. The cops wouldn’t do it on their own. Not one would tell the truth although one apologized verbally for the event and for not helping me during the cover up when his buddies were not around. Brassards were covering for each other and the decent cop was too scared to stand up.

It was and is acceptable, and common. They didn’t just come up with it that night or the weeks followin. Lie and protect each other because we have the right intent and they just don’t understand. And I’m not even talking about the attempts to get me to fight them. Power abusing mother fucjkers.

But I’m an example of one. If it isn’t happening all over then all the protestors just need to go home. It’s all ok and the police are policing themselves thus there is no issue. Makes sense to me.

I thinks MACS is saying part of the outrage is as blind as the what precipitated it.

This horse is dead... 🐓 Protests and riots/looting/mayhem are NOT the fkn same.

And if you think there is data or stats to back up the "systemic racism" narrative, I would direct you to the FBI's UCR (Uniform Crime Report) it comes out every year. Spoiler alert - there's not.

Maybe so. I’m sure MACS worked in good shops where they never fudged and rationalized it because they were sure they were on the right side so fudging is acceptable. Not all shops are like that.

I don’t doubt MACS, but I don’t think the protestors are wrong...until they move from protestors to rioters.

Long ago for my undergrad I used the fbi UCR for a statistical analysis of race (not racism) vs crime Using spss or sass (can’t remember) i couldn’t prove a correlation. The data set is great but flawed. I had to identify the flaws as well. For example white collar crime goes unreported more than violent crime etc.

Back on topic it sounds like there is no issue and the protestors and certain communities just don’t understand. Sort of makes me think if there is no problem there will be no solution.

if we defund the police department I guess we'll have to form neighborhood militias... there shouldn't be any problems after that... 😟

Why should there be? There is no problem. The cops are good. Some folks just don’t get that.

In my case I had to explain to my 10 year old daughter that cops are good even though she also saw they were lying. I don’t want her growing up scared of them as much as those KCMO fuggers wanted her to. They should have been fired and a couple jailed. They didn’t even get reprimanded. Just oopsie daisy and slow fade. She knew that. But some day she may need them too. I know I’d hesitate calling them.

That’s why I explained to my daughter they are good and necessary. We do need them. Not accepting what they did, abuse of power and lying to cover each other is not anti police. It’s pro police. It’s pro the police they and we deserve.

If it’s considered anti police then it can’t get better. There are some dirty individuals and some dirty forces out there. That really shouldn’t be controversial.

I wish. I’ve let it go but it still angers me. I just completely avoid when I can. Filthy dirty, and that was 6-8 cops on day 1, 3-4 cops on day two. It wasn’t just a one off. It was a common process. Thank god for video and good people.

She already knew that. As a matter of fact when they had me surrounded trying to get me to fight she said he didn’t do anything this time but gave them the list she keeps of all the times I did do wrong.

Had they gotten their way I’d have lost everything.

And it was pure pure dirty they rationalized because they were so convinced they were the good guys so it was ok to lie for good cause.

Effing bassards. Di(k cancer to all of them. Except the one that felt bad but was too weak to stand up. Cureable bung hole cancer to him.
