Would be GREAT if that was the prevailing sentiment... but it's not, sadly. If I don't want the shot I'm either an anti-vaxxer, science denier, or I hate old people and want them to die. None of which is true.

Yes but if someone refuses inoculation, knowingly mixes with the infected, and passes it on to others who die from it, would that be negligent manslaughter?

Cause it should be….

That's true... it is hard to argue for "pro life" after showing blatant disregard of human's life who have actually developed a mostly functioning brain.

Seems like all the crying about masks are coming from people that claim to be red but live among the blue.

Ahhh yes, smell that maskless air.

If everyone that is vaccinated that wants to be vaccinated, what’s the difference? If your vaccinated you shouldn’t care that I am right? I pose no threat to you, if you have been vaccinated right? I’ve been trucking right along through this whole thing all over the Midwest, to the Carolinas, the west as far as Utah and Idaho. In truck stops where hundreds of people come through a day. I’ve never gotten sick or anything, I’m 33 years old why would I take a vaccine that I have no idea what the long term side effects are gonna be?

And if you did contract it, had no symptoms, and passed it to others - no problem right?
As long as you’re good, screw the rest of them.

Trump turned his mass codependents into sociopaths.

See that movie "I Care" on netflix? I could picture Trump marvelling at his subjects... er trophies... er high IQ folks that would stand behind him if he murdeded a bunch of people on the street.

I've long suspected God to be a thin skinned narcissist... at least that's how he's described in the bible.

So that might be true.

Couldn't agree more MACS. Brewha has gone full authoritarian lunatic. He's inventing crimes against humanity in his head and dreaming of the most heinous punishments for those that commit heresy against "the science" as written by Lord Fauci.

The same people that called President Trump a "fascist" are now sending Federal agents door-to-door coercing people to be injected with experimental drugs.

(I've had two Modera shots so fuck off.)

Everyone should get the chance to get the jab and then it should be their choice. I wish their choice could be on solid information rather than the disinformation some are likely to follow but that’s that. Funny how the immunization was a miracle of Trumps doing until it wasn’t and now it’s bad lol. Warp speed to bad.

I think an argument could be made that if you choose not to get the shot but get the disease you are responsible for all treatment costs as well as any other human cost. Otherwise you are asking others to fund your risk. A form of health welfare, or health gambling with others coin. I’d have no problem allowing insurance companies (only if they choose, not mandated) to give people the choice. Shot or roll the dice in potential financial ruin as well as death. Ie refuse the shot accept the cost in the risk reward game. Some seem to shun personal responsibility on either end. The want to avoid the inherent risk of any immunization and reap the reward of those that do. Then they want to have insurance or government to pay if they get what they could have avoided. Nice.

But we are a good country by and large. We won’t do that, and suppose I’m glad depending on the moment.

Gene I too question the door to door thing. I need to learn more, whether they are really federal agents, and what coercion exists if any but I’m not comfortable with door to door actions for so many reasons not the least of which efficacy and reasonable use of resources. Especially if feds are doing it. If it’s church groups or other stakeholder groups on their dime I’m ok with it, even if they rely on the government to some extent for information etc. but feds…not so much.

Don’t care about uniforms. Just coin. No fed employees or direct coin. If it’s stakeholders on their coin so be it. That’s as American as apple pie and happens in virtually every community for various reasons and issues. Every day.

And getting real info out there to counter the insidious disinformation machine is a good thing. But choice is choice regardless of your info flow.

Lol. I’m sort of for folks being able to travel here and being able to travel there. I’m also glad America is what it is warts and all. Best country in the world despite it all. God bless America.

And bless the pygmies in Africa too.

And bless our individual rights and right to chose what’s best for ourself based on whatever info flow we like no matter what the other guy thinks.

By the way gene, do those “island people” have access to discount cigar forums?
