A friend of mine has a Man Garage. He's converted a metal building into several rooms that have become his shop, pool table, video game room, and karaoke/movie lounge with a full bar with 3 line kegs tapper.

He uses painted cinder blocks with LED lights that he can change to whatever color he wants solidly or they gradually change over time (got them at IKEA) hid in the top of the holes of the blocks for his speaker stands. It works for his place...maybe not what you're looking for though...just an idea.

First speaker stands I had were concrete blocks and plywood, adjustable too.

Milk crates for that college chic look. Plus, there's the added bonus of doubling as album cabinets

Here I thought this thread was about finally having a Speaker (of the House) that can stand on their own and not propped up while stammering due to too much vodka…🍺

Small update.

Contacted Russ but he’s got some things to clear up with his local government so we’ll reconvene in a couple of months.

In the meantime, I used some furniture sliders to tilt the speakers back and with the tweeters firing upwards towards my ears, they sound great.

Now I’m thinking of maybe just 3-4” lift but angled up a little.
