Such a bummer seeing Trevor Lawrence go down tonight……hopefully its not season ending, but it looked bad.

Nine teams over .500 in the AFC currently.
Only 4 in the NFC.
Weird season so far.

I wasn’t good in math but I counted only 8 teams with winning records in the AFC. 🤔

Initial reports are sprained ankle. Still... how you let the Bengals with a backup QB beat you on MNF?

C'mon, man.

As a result of Trevor Lawrence‘s injury the Jacksonville Jaguars have been relegated to the English Premier League.

Yeah that no PI call on Green Bay was….interesting

Even though I'm a Packer fan there were some bad calls at the end of the game that could have changed the outcome.

1) The personal foul call around the 1 minute mark for the hit on Mahomes near the sideline as he was trying to run for the first down was a bad call. It was a clean hit while he was still in bounds. The Chiefs benefited from a bad call.

2) The non-call for pass interference on Valdes-Scantling’s with like 50 seconds left in the game was a bad non-call. That was an obvious PI. The Packers benefited from a non-call.

3) The non-call on the maybe or maybe not pass interference on Kelce in the Hail Mary (last play of the game) could have gone either way but I would still side with a non-call as being the right call. It was a slight shove within a pool of people trying to catch or knock down the ball. Letter of the law (rules) and if it wasn't in a group of people but it was just a single pass catcher and defender, I guess you should call it. Officials are not there to decide the game on petty maybe/maybe not infractions in the heat of the moment chaos and also can't see everything little thing happening in a mass of bodies.

Hafta admit, as I watched the play on MVS and the contact, the first thing I said was “Oh no! PI!” Was totally shocked when there weren’t any flags. BUT, and I know the NFL supposedly doesn’t do this, was it a make-up call for the personal foul on Owens when he hit Mahomes…but it really wasn’t? 🤔

That non-call on the PI was bad. You could see it a mile away and you didn't need slow mo to or freeze frame to determine that.

The personal fowl on Mahomes was also a bad call but I can see how it might have been questionable in the heat of the moment. The rules nowadays are slanted to keep keep the quarterbacks pristine especially the big names. OK, so throw the flag then send it up to the booth be reviewed.

After review, it was clear that he was in the field of play, didn't slide or try to safely get out of bounds, he was trying to get the first down. The hit was legal. The penalty is over ruled. No penalty yards marked off, no automatic 1st down. 3rd down and inches, restart the play clock.

Did someone see Taylor Swift in GB? She doesn’t show up and KC loses🏈
O we talking football, refs control the outcomes of all games👎🏻

She was there. But only saw one shot of her, iirc, it was at the end of the 1st quarter.

The Packers are classy, TS and Mahomes’ wife got a suite, unlike the nose-bleed open-air seats Jordan Love’s Mom and GF had when GB played at KC.

My sister use to work at Lambeau as a side job during the football season. Easy money and you can still watch the game. She met a lot of celebrities, high ranking NFL people, announcers and stuff. One year she worked as a waitress in the luxury boxes of the high rollers serving drinks and stuff. She has many stories to tell on that experience. According to her, Tipper Gore doesn't tip. If you don't tip in the luxury box servers will most likely add some spit or a snot rocket in your glass of whatever you ordered.

Another year she worked the elevators taking high ranking folks and the announcers up to the press boxes and the luxury boxes. She was able to watch the game in the elevators since the the elevators have TV's installed in them. Again many stories to tell. According to my sister, Al Micheals is an A-hole. Most of the other announcers and big named folks were nice and appreciative.

Dunno if this belongs in the Politics forum but why TF is something Sean McDermott said 4 years ago in a team meeting (…and immediately apologized for it…) suddenly being brought up?

The media just can’t let things be, can’t they? 🤐
